The living is easy
Now that we've reached Stage 3 of the recovery throughout most of Ontario, we're looking for opportunities to get together to socialize and enjoy each other's company.
We've had some impromptu cycling and canoe expeditions, and appropriately distanced coffee klatches. And of course our Zoom dinner parties and chatlines continue to provide the glue that binds our community.
We're definitely busy. Our Site committee recently updated us on the work they've been doing to acquire a site. Still a few hoops to jump through, but we are getting closer!
Without a doubt we're living in interesting times, and one sure sign is the big leap in interest about Peterborough life. While we're not exactly hipsters, we've always known that Peterborough is a great place to make a home.
We've always known too that shared living offers an antidote to many of the pitfalls of our times. It comes in many shapes: this approach to shared living proves yet again that people need community to thrive. And they'd like to live near Peterborough as well.
As we've already mentioned, we've suspended our orientation sessions at least until the end of the summer. We're still getting inquiries, however, and when things settle down somewhat we hope to invite you for a closer look at KCC.
Bur for now, we welcome your inquiries. Feel free to contact us anytime at info@kawarthacommons.ca.
Enjoy your summer!
