Our location

We’re designing a condo building on 1.4 acres at 736 Maryland Avenue, Peterborough, Ontario K9J 5Y9. It’s a fantastic site, within walking distance to downtown, and close to grocery stores, the hospital, and public schools. Our design will maximize the use of green space on the property, and will include around 4,000 square feet of common space.

Trees, trees, and more trees

The site is very heavily wooded, and we want to preserve as many trees as we can. We’re engaging an arborist to help us understand what species we have, and which ones are invasive. We’ll also need to compensate the City of Peterborough for every significant tree that we remove, by paying for three replacements trees to be planted elsewhere.

We intend to preserve the hedge that runs to the front and side of the property, although we will need to cut into it to create an access point for the site from Maryland Avenue.
